Even when recording uses up the card’s free space, the camera continues the recording by deleting the oldest segment of the recorded data.


  1. Set the mode dial to [icon_mode-creative-motion_title1].

  1. Set [Rec. File Format] to [MOV].

  1. Set [Loop Recording (video)].

bullet02[icon_4k-photo-loop] is displayed on the recording screen.

bullet02When the recording fills the card to capacity, loop recording starts and video recording time is no longer displayed.

bullet02Make sure the camera does not turn off during recording.

bullet02Loop recording cannot start if there is insufficient available capacity on the card.

bullet02When the recording time exceeds 12 hours, recording continues with data being deleted in order from the point where recording started.

bullet02When the following functions are being used, [Loop Recording (video)] is not available:

– [Rec Quality] with a bit rate of 400 Mbps

– [Variable Frame Rate]

– [Live Cropping]
