Supplying power from a PoE+ power supply
This camera is PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at compliant) compatible. Connect the camera to a PoE+ compatible switching hub or PoE+ compatible injector to supply power (power supply).

1 Connect the [LAN] terminal of the camera and the PoE+ compatible switching hub with a PoE+ compatible LAN cable.
For the cable that connects to the LAN terminal, use the one below.
– LAN cable (STP (Shielded Twisted Pair), category 5e or above, maximum 100 m (328 feet))
Use a PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at compliant) compatible switching hub or power supplying device. * 1
(Not all PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at compliant) compatible device operations are guaranteed.)
* 1 Make sure it complies with the safety standards IEC 60950-1 or IEC 62368-1. If you are uncertain on whether or not it complies with the safety standards, please contact the manufacturer of the switching hub or power supplying device.
You cannot use a PoE (IEEE 802.3af compliant) switching hub or power supplying device.
After turning the camera on, when the device or cable used is determined PoE+ incompatible by the camera, the camera automatically turns off. (Determining may take approximately 3 minutes.)
The camera’s Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth connection, and USB connection cannot be used while supplying power with PoE+.
If you connect a PC to a switching hub that supplies power to the camera with PoE+ via a LAN cable, you can remotely control the camera with the software “LUMIX Tether” while supplying power to the camera with PoE+.
