Shutter-Priority AE Mode

In [S] mode (Shutter-Priority AE mode), you can set the shutter speed before recording.

The aperture value will be automatically set by the camera.

  1. Set the recording mode to [S].

  1. Set the shutter speed.

  1. Start recording.

bullet02If the correct exposure is not achieved when the shutter button is pressed halfway, the aperture value and the shutter speed blink red.

bullet02The effects of the set aperture value and shutter speed will not be visible on the recording screen.

To check the effects on the recording screen, use [Preview]. (character_referencePreview Mode)

bullet02The brightness of the recording screen and of actual recorded images may differ.

Check the images on the playback screen.

bullet02Shutter speeds faster than 1/250 of a second are not available when recording using a flash. (character_referenceShutter Speeds for Flash Modes)
