[LEICA Monochrome] Has Been Added to [Photo Style]

It is now possible to select [LEICA Monochrome] from [Photo Style].

A setting mode that realizes Leica monochrome mode, featuring deep contrasts between black and white.



Changes to the Functionality of [REAL TIME LUT]

It is now possible to select the LUT file while checking the status of what is applied in the live view. Furthermore, support is now available to load the base Photo Style information for LUT files.

You can apply the LUT file that was registered in [LUT Library]. (character_reference[LUT Library] Function Has Been Enhanced )

bullet02The Photo Style acting as the base is set automatically by the applied LUT file. (If there is no base Photo Style information in the LUT file, you can select [V-Log].)

Use My Photo Style when you want to change the Photo Style that will act as the base.

bullet02The Photo Style can also be changed to [REAL TIME LUT] in the recording screen by pressing the Fn button assigned with [REAL TIME LUT]. (character_reference[REAL TIME LUT] Function Has Been Enhanced )


Selecting the LUT file to apply

  1. Press character_upcharacter_down to select [LUT] and then press [button_af-mode].

  1. Rotate image_front-dial_s, image_rear-dial_s or button_control-dial_s to select the LUT file to apply, then press button_menu-set or button_joy-stick-push_s.

  1. Press the shutter button or video rec. button to start recording.

Adjust image quality with the LUT file applied.


  1. Press character_upcharacter_down to select an item and then press character_leftcharacter_right to adjust.

bullet02When the image quality is adjusted, the Photo Style icon on the recording screen is indicated with [character_asterisk-3].


Settings Items (Image Quality Adjustment)


icon_photo-style-concentration[LUT Opacity]

Adjusts the LUT file effect.


icon_contrast[Contrast]

Adjusts the contrast in the image.


icon_highlight[Highlight]

Adjusts the brightness of bright areas.


icon_shadow[Shadow]

Adjusts the brightness of dark areas.


icon_saturation[Saturation]

Adjusts the vividness of colors.


icon_grain-effect[Grain Effect]

[Low]/[Standard]/[High]: Sets the grain effect level.

[Off]


icon_color-noise[Color Noise]

[On]: Adds color to the grain effect.

[Off]


icon_sharpness[Sharpness]

Adjusts the outlines in the image.


icon_noise-reduction[Noise Reduction]

Adjusts the noise reduction effect.

bullet02Increasing the effect may cause a slight drop in picture resolution.

bullet02When [Photo Style] is set to [REAL TIME LUT], the range of ISO sensitivity levels you can use depends on the base Photo Style of the applied LUT file.

The range of available ISO sensitivities is also different for [LOW] and [HIGH] in [Dual Native ISO Setting].

bullet02[Dual Native ISO Setting] is fixed to [AUTO] when using the High Resolution mode function with the base Photo Style in [REAL TIME LUT] set to [V-Log].

bullet02When [LUT] is set to [OFF] in the image quality adjustments of [REAL TIME LUT], [Photo Style] will operate the same as the Photo Style that acts as the base.

bullet02[Master Pedestal Level] is not available when the base Photo Style in [REAL TIME LUT] is set to [V-Log].

bullet02When a LUT file has not been applied in [REAL TIME LUT] (base Photo Style is [V-Log]), [Luminance Spot Meter] is measured with “Stop” units and [Zebra Pattern] is set in Stop units.

bullet02[REAL TIME LUT] cannot be selected as a [Photo Style] in [RAW Processing]. The Photo Styles that can be selected for images recorded with [REAL TIME LUT] depend on the base Photo Style.

bullet02[Color Space] is fixed to [sRGB] when the base Photo Style in [REAL TIME LUT] is set to [V-Log].


My Photo Style Functionality Has Been Enhanced

It is now possible to apply up to 2 LUT files that have been registered in the [LUT Library].

bullet02The Photo Style will be the base Photo Style of the applied LUT file ([LUT1] if 2 LUT files are applied).

bullet02[icon_photo-style-my-photo-style] switches to [icon_photo-style-my-photo-style_lut] when [LUT1] or [LUT2] is applied in image quality adjustments.
