You can attach the Leica Camera AG L-Mount standard lens to this camera.

bullet02Check that the camera on/off switch is set to [OFF].

bullet02Change the lens in a location where there is not a lot of dirt and dust.

If dirt or dust gets on the lens (character_referenceDirt on the Image Sensor)

Rotate the zoom ring in the direction of arrow (1) from position (A) (the lens is retracted) to position (B) (18 mm to 40 mm) to extend the lens.

bullet02When the lens barrel is retracted, images cannot be recorded.


character_diamondHow to Retract the Lens

Rotate the zoom ring in the direction of arrow (2) from position (B) (18 mm to 40 mm) to position (A) to retract the lens.

bullet02At the 18 mm position, you will feel a click. Keep rotating to the (A) position.

bullet02When you are not recording images, we recommend that you retract the lens.


Removing a Lens

bullet02While pressing the lens release button (A), rotate the lens in the direction of the arrow until it stops and then remove it.

bullet02When you have attached a lens that does not have a communication function with this camera, after turning on the camera, a message asking for confirmation of the lens information is displayed. You can register the focal length for the lens when you select [Yes]. You can also select from amongst already registered lens information. (character_reference[Lens Information])

bullet02You can change the settings so that the confirmation message is not displayed:

bullet02Insert the lens straight in.

Inserting this at an angle to attach it may damage the camera lens mount.

bullet02After removing the lens, be sure to attach the body cap and the lens rear cap.


Attaching a Lens Hood

For recording against strong backlight, a lens hood can reduce the inclusion of unwanted light in images and drop in contrast resulting from the irregular reflection of light that occurs within the lens.

It allows you take more beautiful pictures by cutting out excess light.


When attaching the lens hood (flower shape) supplied with the interchangeable lens (S-R2060)

bullet02Hold the lens hood by placing your fingers as shown in the figure.

bullet02Do not hold the lens hood in such a way that it will become bent.

  1. Align mark (C) (image_lenshood_mark_2) on the lens hood with the mark on the tip of the lens.

  1. Rotate the lens hood in the direction of the arrow to align mark (D) (image_lenshood_mark_1) on the lens hood with the mark on the tip of the lens.

While pressing the lens hood button (E), rotate the lens hood in the direction of the arrow and then remove it.

bullet02The lens hood can be attached in the reverse direction when carrying the camera.

  1. Align mark (D) (image_lenshood_mark_1) on the lens hood with the mark on the tip of the lens.
