Memory Cards That Can Be Used

You can use CFexpress cards and SD memory cards with this camera.

The memory cards that can be used are described below (As of January 2022).

bullet02SD memory card, SDHC memory card, and SDXC memory card are referred to by the generic name of SD card in this document.

bullet02When not differentiating between a CFexpress card and SD card, a card is referred to as simply card.

Card slot 1: CFexpress card

CFexpress card (CFexpress Ver.2.0 Type B) (64 GB to 512 GB)


Card slot 2: SD memory card

SD memory card/SDHC memory card/SDXC memory card (Maximum 256 GB)

bullet02The camera supports UHS-I/UHS-II UHS Speed Class 3 standard and UHS-II Video Speed Class 90 standard SD cards.

When using the following functions, use cards that have the correct SD Speed Class, UHS Speed Class, and Video Speed Class.

bullet02The following types of video cannot be recorded to SD cards. Use CFexpress cards.

– [Apple ProRes] video with resolution of 4K or more

– [MOV] video with bit rate of 800 Mbps or more

– Variable frame rate video with a recording quality with image compression mode ALL-Intra

bullet02You can prevent the writing and deleting of data by setting the write-protect switch (A) on the SD card to “LOCK”.

bullet02The data stored on a card may be damaged due to electromagnetic waves, static electricity or a failure of the camera or card. We recommend backing up important data.

bullet02Keep the memory card out of reach of children to prevent swallowing.
